First launched in 2020, the BDH H1 was hailed as a “Work of Art” by sim racing enthusiasts and professionals alike. As the first professional-grade H-pattern SIM shifter developed by BDH, it quickly earned a devoted following and the affectionate nickname “The Bazooka.”

Inspired by the gear shifting mechanism of the iconic Ford Escort MKII rally car, the H1 was engineered for realism and personalisation. Its unique “Tensioning Technology” allowed users to fine-tune resistance and feedback, setting a new benchmark for authenticity. With a robust construction and a weight of 3.5kg, it was built to handle the rigours of race simulation at the highest level — a true reflection of BDH’s motorsport engineering pedigree.
